A beautiful large antique casserole dish in a design reminiscent of Secessionist and Art Nouveau, with a lid having a knob handle. This is in great antique condition and has handles either side of the bowl. There is a faint hairline crack about 1 inch long to one side of the body of the pot running down from the rim.
The piece was made in the St Uze area of France, probably in the Revol family factory, in the 1900's, the cobalt blue underglaze decoration is rubber stamped and these wares are very collectible.
Size approx diameter 26cm, height 23cm, across handles 27cm wide.
